The Australian Nature Guides difference...

  • Carnarvon Gorge is Simon's home. He lives, works, and studies the area full time as proprietor of the only locally owned tourism/hospitality business.
  • Over a decade spent exploring the Gorge's secret places: Simon can show you places other guides have yet to discover, and you will travel in the safe hands of the Gorge's most experienced guide.
  • Customised itineraries: Simon's knowledge of the Gorge allows him to tailor an itinerary that suits each group's collective desire for the day - narrow hidden canyons, secret springs, or high country views.
  • The Gorge Gazette: At the end of the day, we compile a pictorial diary of each group's day which is emailed as a reminder of all we saw, heard and experienced on the tour.

Off The Beaten Track Tour.

The Gorge's recent flooding means there is some great exploring to be had away from the track system. Join Simon for a day walk visiting the Gorge's hidden gems.

The group will meet in the morning at the beginning of the Main Track, at which time Simon will lay out all the itinerary options and put them to the vote. Then it is a brisk walk into the Gorge to the point where we leave the track and venture into spots that receive very little visitation from narrow slot canyons, to verdant springs, and on to Simon's secret lookout spots.
